Global Timber is committed to help to preserve natural resources for future generations. And we conduct and promote continous forestry as it is a precondition for a basis income level for many families throughout the world.
Therefore, we support sustainable forest management worldwide to ensure that the timber is harvested in a legal way, and in compliance with the rules and regulations in import and export countries.
Global Timber is a member and firm supporter of the Danish Timber Trade Federation, which commits its members to responsibly source their timber and continously monitor their suppliers´ environmental performance.
Our company recognizes organizations as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) and the Pan European Forest Certification (PEFC), which is working to ensure sustainable forest management worldwide.
Global Timber is FSC®-certified. Likewise, we are certified to handle PEFC and several other legality certification programs as e.g. TLTV, VLO and OLB.

The European Union (EU) requires companies to implement a due dilligence system to reduce the risk of sourcing illegal timber. We ensure that all our products meet the EUTR requirements, and we will gladly help you with further advice and guidance on dealer requirements.
We also focus on human rights, labor rights, environmental responsibility and anti-corruption.
We do try to answer environmental and social questions accurately and promptly – our main goal is always to deliver understanding of the facts.
