It is difficult to process and scratches and cracks like many other heavy woods, has a lot of growth with and against. The wood can vary from light to dark, but mainly the latter.
Due to the high density, Denya is often used for harbor timber, deck planks, walkways, container floors and horse boxes and other stable furniture. The breaking strength of Denya is very high.
